Provided at no cost to employees in positions at risk for exposure.

Provided at no cost to employees.

Provides mental health service for non - supervisory level employees and
their immediate family members. There is no cost to employees.

Leave
Leave is earned on the basis of the number of regular hours an employee works per week. Employees must work at least eight (8) hours per week to earn leave. Full-time employees earn 8 hours of annual leave and 8 hours of sick leave per month (pro-rated for part-time employees). The amount of annual leave is increased incrementally, based on years of employment, as described in the following example, which is based on a 40-hour work week.
Annual Leave (Vacation)
Less than 4 years of employment=96 hrs/year
4 to 5 years of employment= 108 hrs/year
6 to 10 years of employment= 120 hrs/year
11 or more years of employment= 162 hrs/year
Sick Leave
8 hours of sick leave is earned per month regardless of years of employment. May also be used for bereavement.
Family and Medical Leave.
After one year of employment, up to 12 weeks unpaid leave per year under specified circumstances.
Educational Leave
Up to 40 hours per year.

Conditional Employment Requirements
- Employment Eligibility Verification
- Three acceptable references
- Verification of insurability by the Center's insurance companies, excluding health and dental carriers
- Medical History Questionnaire/Exam when indicated by Medical History
- Proof of Driver's License, Motor Vehicle Record Check, and insurance
- Criminal Record Check
- DHR Registry Check, if working with children
- Drug Screening
- Receipt of Diploma or Official Transcript verifying degree required
- Proof of Licensure, if required
- TB Screening
- CPR and other in-services, as required for position
Employees are given conditional offers of employment by the Center. These offers are contingent upon the Center's satisfaction with the results of the above requirements.
