The annual meeting of the Board of Directors of East Alabama Mental
Health-Mental Retardation Center was held Thursday evening, October 16,
2008. During the meeting, four very special staff members were honored
with Special Service Awards to show appreciation for their continued
gifts of going above and beyond their respective job descriptions to
model excellent behavior for other staff and dedication to providing
well above average quality services to our consumers. Each was nominated
by either one of their peers or their supervisor.
This year’s recipients include Mr. Wayne Bledsoe (house manager,
Beauregard Group Home), Mrs. Cylenthia White (behavior assistant, Lee
County Day Hab), Mrs. Linda Davis (Therapist, Nursing Home Services),
and Mrs. Marlise Gray (Therapist, Brief Intensive Treatment).
We are proud to honor these four staff members as fine examples of
what we should all strive to be.
